A Cooperation Agreement between the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute" and the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal) has been signed.
In the framework of the implementation of the Agreement, the following types of cooperation are envisaged:
Educational activity:
1. Academic mobility and internships for students and teachers
2. Carrying out joint activities on development of distance educational technologies and educational projects
3. Joint preparation and publication of educational and methodological tutorials and textbooks
4. Development and introduction of double diploma programs
Research and innovation activities:
1. Creation and implementation of joint research projects, including the preparation and publication of monographs, scientific articles, joint supervision of students, theses reportsand other scientific works, either independent or part of other scientific and technical programs.
2. Organization of international workshops and conferences on research and educational directions
Today within the framework of the Agreement the Erasmus+ grant application has been submitted, curricula for the specialty "Cyber energy systems software" and "Internet of Things" are being harmonized with the aim of creating a double diploma program.
In addition, currently we are coordinating the areas of joint research, including projects on topics: Internet of things, STEAM education (Web, augmented reality, virtual reality), Underwater networks, Intelligent Environments for Assisted Living incorporating Internet of Things, Sustainable Chemical Technology and Resources Valorization, Data Consolidation, Text Mining, Big Data Analysis.
